Re: Sinai for New Egypt

Jalaluddin S. Hussain, Quebec, Canada

Dear Editor,

I wish Dr. Mohamed Elmasry all success in his efforts to organize an International Conference, near El-Tahrir Square, in Cairo, Egypt, on January 25, 2012.

Hopefully, by that date a major part of the parliamentary elections, currently in progress, would have been over and some genuine and patriotic representatives of the Egyptian people, returned to the New Parliament.

Dr. Elmasry is right in highlighting the immense economic and touristic potentials of the Sinai Peninsula.  The forthcoming International Conference must therefore outline the way, in concrete terms about how to effectively exploit those potential resources.
